Data Center Infrastructure Certification Categories
-
Project Seal – in project certification, the data center must present the necessary documentation for analysis. DCCert will send you a list of required documents and drawings. Project Certification is valid for 1 year until the work is completed, but can only be extended for another 1 year.
-
Facilities Seal – for installation certification, the same list of documents and drawings required for the project is also necessary. The work will be monitored at some essential moments, whenever DCCert deems it necessary, as well as monitoring some critical checks and tests during commissioning. Integrated tests will also be monitored. From the initial certification of the installation, a revalidation will be carried out annually to check whether the maintenance plan is being fulfilled, whether the KPIs are within the targets and whether the same initial certification conditions are being maintained.
-
Operation Seal – is the same procedure as in the scope above (Facilities), added to an audit to verify whether a maintenance and monitoring system operated by qualified personnel is implemented, with defined KPIs. After the initial certification, a revalidation will be carried out annually to check whether the procedures are being followed, whether the staff remains trained, whether the DC responds appropriately to situations and whether the KPIs are within the goals.
